Pinger Woes!
Pinger mishaps have been popping up around the Silica Flats. While the Union Transportation Committee claims that all Pingers are safe, accidents are still prevalent.
Pingers bring us from place to place, and we have come to rely on them in our daily lives. But there was a menacing threat looming in the darkness, which has abruptly manifested itself in the Pinger south of Prime Recon in Silica Flats.
Some folks are reconstituting underground! That's right- the next time you hop on into a Pinger, be sure to check the coordinates of where you'll end up.
All it takes is a simple tweak on the array at the receiving end, and you could end up slipstreaming into a dangerous situation with sand in your mouth. It has been jokingly referred to as "Ponging" by the people of the wasteland. This is no laughing matter, however.
Daily inspections of the Pingers had worked thus far, but these recent events should really remind us that we lack a dedicated group to maintain and protect the devices that mean so much to our livelihood.
